Excluding an Extension from Ringing on the NEC SL2100 and SL1100

This Tech Tip demonstrates how to make a specific extension (station) not ring, when a call comes in to the NEC SL2100 or NEC SL1100

Programming Steps

NOTE: In this example we will remove extension 102 from Ring Group 1, so that extension 102 does not ring on an incoming call.

1. Go to Program 22-04: Incoming Ring Group Extension Assignment

2. Enter the Incoming Ring Group Number (1~25) that you want to remove the extension from.
By default, all extensions are in Ring Group 1.

Step 2. Enter the Incoming Ring Group that you want to remove the extension from.

3. Highlight the extension number you wish to remove and delete it. Leave the field empty.


4. Apply and upload your changes
